NuvoTV Premieres “Mario Lopez: One-On-One” and “Curvy Girls”

 Los Angeles nuvoTV the first English-language cable network for bi-cultural Latinos in the U.S., premieres two new original programs this fall with the launch of Mario Lopez: One-On-One on September 13 (8PM ET/PT), featuring Lopez’s exclusive interviews with Hollywood’s hottest Latino celebrities and Curvy Girls on September 18 (9PM, 10PM & 10:30 PM ET/PT) with a special three episode premiere, showcasing the glamorous lives of plus-size models.

Mario Lopez: One-on-One isn’t pitching softball questions, and it’s not a celebrity interrogation instead it captures intimate, fun, candid, revealing conversations between Hollywood’s most-liked celebrity confidante and some of his best friends, who also happen to be the biggest Latino superstars in sports and entertainment, including People’s Choice Award-winning actress Eva Longoria, sports great Mark Sanchez and comedian George Lopez.


Original reality series, Curvy Girls provides a fierce and fascinating all-access pass inside the glamorous world of professional plus-size modeling by shining the spotlight on four full-figured beauties that won’t let anything get in the way of their success. There’s Rosie, a voluptuous Latina beauty fighting to reshape questionable casting practices in the industry; Denise, an ambitious single mom looking to create a better future for her daughter; Model Latina alum LornaLitz, a newbie to the plus-size scene who will do anything to achieve the same accomplishments as her friends; and Ivory, a statuesque stunner who earns up to $15 grand a gig and strives to help her gal pals reach her level of success – if catty competition doesn’t tear them apart first!
