Frontline and Univision partner to tell the story of the hidden price many migrant women working in America’s fields and packing plants pay to stay employed and provide for their families in the documentary Rape in the Fields. This investigation is the result of a yearlong reporting effort by veteran FRONTLINE correspondent Lowell Bergman, the Investigative Reporting Program at UC Berkeley, and the Center for Investigative Reporting.
The doumentary will air on PBS Frontline on Tuesday, June 25, at 10 p.m. (check local PBS listings), and on the Univision Network as Violación de un Sueño on Saturday, June 29, at 7 p.m.
A first of its kind collaboration, Rape in the Fields/Violación de un Sueño will premiere in two different languages, English and Spanish on two different dates on PBS Frontline and Univision.
The film will air Tuesday on PBS, and Univision News will air a Spanish version titled Violación de un Sueño (Violation of a Dream) on June 29 at 7 p.m. ET.
