Alicia Sixtos Joins TNT’s ‘Monsters of God’

Los Angeles, CA – Actress Alicia Sixtos (East Los High, The Fosters) has joined the cast as a series regular of Monsters of God, a post-civil War drama pilot  from Brad Pitt‘s Plan B Entertainment.

Sixtos will play a charming prostitute, Juanita, a woman who will capture the affections of Colonel Lancaster, played by Garret Dillahunt.  Efren Ramirez was cast as Jerome, a Mexican fluent in Comanche and Lancaster’s translator.

TNT’s pilot was written by Rod Lurie, who before becoming a writer and director in Hollywood, served as an artillery officer in the U.S. Army. Monsters of God is the story of Colonel “Terrible” Bill Lancaster’s savage war against the Comanche in post-Civil War Texas.

In 2012 Alicia landed the role of Maya Martinez, a troubled girl running from a rough past and toward a better life in the Emmy Nominated and multi award winning Hulu original series, East Los High directed and produced by Carlos Portugal and Katie Elmore Mota. Alicia Marie Sixtos born to Mexican father Genaro Sixtos and Portuguese mother Laura Angeja Sixtos who is a talent manager.
