“The Haunt” Launches on YouTube With Over 200K Views

 Los Angeles, CA — The Haunt brings the funny side of horror to the web series genre.  Created by Isabel Cueva and Douglas Tait, The Haunt is a character driven comedy series set in a small town, where the lives of the veteran cast members of The Haunted Manor, are shaken after the over zealous director decides to revamp the manor, and make drastic changes.  

This past month the pilot of The Haunt was presented at several film festival and winning The Hollywood Comedy Shorts Festival Pilot Award of Merit and Best Ensemble Cast at the Best Shorts Awards.  Last week it also screened at the Beverly Hills Film Festival.

If the trailer is any indication, audiences are digging the concept. In just two short weeks had garnered 221,000 views on Youtube

Isabel Cueva and Douglas Tait are the creators, writers, directors, and executive producers of this very original comedy pilot. They also star in pilot. Additional cast members include Martin Klebba (Pirates of The Carribean), and Disney star Adrian R’Mante(Suite Life of Zack and Cody).Cueva and Tait produced The Haunt under their production company Cave Entertainment, under which they also produced their multi-award winning film In the Name of Freedom, which garnered many festival awards and worldwide distribution and is now available on Amazon and itunes.

Douglas Tait, recently recurred on Grimm as the villain in the final season. He starred opposite Julie Benz, and Danielle Harris in the recently released Havenhurst, and has worked in some of Hollywood’s most successful films like, one of them being Star Trek.
Cueva is an award winning actress, writer, director and producer. She is currently developing several projects, and will be directing her first feature film Brothers and Enemies later this year.
