Producer For New Musical Theater Show

We are now hiring a PRODUCER to come on board at a Musical theatre company for kids and adults in Woodland Hills, CA for a new production starting October 2012.

Theatre experience is not required.  Desire and commitment are valued over experience – just time, and the ability to learn.

This will be a very rewarding experience – Loads of fun! And loads of hard work!

Producer duties are:
Web design and upkeep, marketing, calls to all parents, set up studio space, arrange rehearsals, work with all creative talents including director, choreographer, etc., set, costumes, music, etc.  Must be able to think quickly and follow up on all tasks.

Must have computer skills, people skills, parents and kids communication a Must.

Be positive and have a motivated attitude.

Time Requirements:
You must be able to accommodate an extremely flexible schedule to handle all things that come up.  Daytime hours will be required.
Show is scheduled for March 2013
Rehearsals are Sundays (you will be responsible for set-up and break-down)

PAY:
You will receive 30% of revenues from the production, plus a 10% bonus if completed successfully. You will be guaranteed a minimum salary of at least $3,000 for this production (however, the last production paid this position over $5k – the sky is the limit depending on how successful your efforts are!)
