Casting Real Doctors for Insurance Commercial

We are searching for Real Practicing Medical Doctors to be in a commercial for a medical insurance company.

This is a Non-Union Role.
You MUST be available to audition in Los Angeles.

Pay is up to approximately $13,740 +20% (depending upon usage):
$250 + 20% per each travel day (includes fitting).
$500 + 20% per 8 hour shoot day (most likely 2 days).
$6, 000 + 20% buyout for ONE YEAR, Internet only, for UP TO 15 different scripts.
Additional $6, 000 + 20% – Option for a SECOND YEAR of use, payable only if option is exercised.
PLUS round trip airfare, $60/ day per-diem (x 4 days), and lodging will also be provided.

Ideally, candidates will not only be a REAL practicing Professional Medical Doctor with a PHD and medical license but also have a great sense of humor and be comfortable in front of a camera.

Candidates must be available these dates:
Audition:  Friday, 8/17/2012 in Los Angeles
Callback:  September 6th or 7th, 2012
Shoot:  Available to fly to San Francisco on 9/12, shoot on 9/13 and 9/14, and then travel back to LA on 9/15/2012.

ROLE DESCRIPTION:

“Dr. Dave” (Principal Role)
Male / 35-45 / Ethnicity: can be African American, Asian, East Indian, Hispanic, Middle Eastern, Native American, Pacific Islander, or Ethnically Ambiguous.
We are looking for REAL practicing Professional Medical Doctors with a PHD and medical license.
He is Neat, intelligent, trustworthy, reliable, genuine, informative, andcomfortable on camera.
A good understanding of sketch comedy a HUGE bonus.
