Natalia Castellanos Takes the Bull by its Horns in “Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders”

Hollywood, CA –  Natalia Castellanos co-stars tonight in the season one finale of CBS’ Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders  as Claudia Fuentes a local news anchor in Pamplona, Spain where the final two-hour episode takes place.  It airs on CBS at 9PM

In the final episode titled El Toro Bravo, the first hour of the two-hour finale, the IRT heads to Pamplona, Spain during the running of the bulls. The ears of a missing American tourist are found and the team speculates that the crime is politically motivated. They turn to Castellanos character Claudia Fuentes, a local news anchor. “She proves instrumental in assisting the squad crack their case,” said Castellanos.

The daughter of a Latin American diplomat, Castellanos was born in Paramaribo, Suriname, a tiny country located on the northeastern Atlantic coast of South America. Her first professional film credit came in 2002, when she was cast as Jennifer Grey’s body double and stand-in for the horror cult classic Tales From the Crypt: The Ritual. To date, she’s built an impressive list of credits, and her current work on Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders marks her second time working with the show’s star, Gary Sinise.

“I got to work with Daniel Henney and Annie Funke, and with Gary Sinise, whom I haven’t worked with since my first credit when I moved to Los Angeles on CSI:NY,” Castellanos recalled.

Working on iconic primetime dramas is nothing new to Castellanos-a few of her credits include: Prime Suspect, The Mentalist, Awkward,The Closer, The Forgotten, and CSI: NY. She will next be seen on ABC’s Secret and Lies starring Juliette Lewis.

Her sexy and charming appeal, along with her ability to speak fluent Spanish and English has made her a sought-after voice-over actress, her film credits include: Masterminds, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, The 33, Hot Pursuit, Furious 7, Step Up All In, Broken City, and Step Up Revolution, and on TV series, Texas Rising, Netflix’s House of Cards and Kingdom. Castellanos has several new voice-over gigs in the pipeline: Two for US Bank and a few radio promos for the shows Empire and Rosewood. Last week, she could be heard on Tonight With John Oliver.
