Sofia Vergara, the highest paid TV actress on television has already gone on record as saying that she will not insure her derriere, but that does not stop her from making money from her other physical assets.
She is already a highly paid Cover Girl, using those eyes, those lips, that beautiful face to sell make up. Now it’s gone to her head. The 41-year-old Modern Family star has just been named the new Head & Shoulders spokesperson.
According to E-online a source told them Vergara signed a long-term endorsement deal and her paycheck will be in the seven-figure range.
In addition to promoting Head & Shoulders, her endorsement deals also include a fashion line at K-mart, contracts with Diet Pepsi, Rooms to Go, and Synthroid. Plus she does Spanish-language commercials for laundry detergent, Comcast and State Farm Insurance.
Vergara recently told E-online exclusively, “I am excited to be joining a new family. Head & Shoulders has been a part of my hair care regime and my family’s since I was young. In fact we joke that eight out of nine Vergaras use it; and there are a lot of us.”
In the case of Head and Shoulders, Vergara is not only using herself to market the product, several of her real-life family members will appear in a national ad campaign for the hair care line launching in early 2014.
From June 2012 through June 2013, Forbes estimated that the blond star earned $30 million, up $11 million from her top salary from June 2011 through June 2012.
