Hollywood, CA -- Warner Independent Pictures and Alfonso Cuaron’s Esperanto Films have announce the release of Fernando Eimbcke’s award-winning film Duck Season (Temporada de Patos on March 10, 2006.
Duck Season takes you into one particular Sunday morning in the lives of two fourteen-year old boys, Flama and Moko. With their neighbor Rita and pizza delivery boy Ulises, they create their own adventures to overcome their boredom. Duck Season explores the loneliness of childhood, the effects of divorce and the curious power of love and friendship.
Directed by Fernando Eimbcke in his feature film debut, Duck Season film was produced by Christian Valdelievre, Lulú Productions and Cinepantera and executive produced by Jaime Ramos and stars Enrique Arreola, Daniel Miranda, Diego Cataño and Danny Perea.
Winner of an unprecedented 11 Ariel Awards, and an Official Selection at International Critic’s Week at Cannes, the Toronto International Film Festival and New Directors, New Films, the film also won the Grand Jury Prize at AFI Fest, the Fipresci Prize at Guadalajara, among numerous others.
