LatinHeatMediaInstitue-IndieFilmScreeningThe LHMI Indie Film Screening Series has been established to give Latino Indie filmmakers an opportunity to have their films seen by community.  Although most of these films are screened at film festival, their audience is limited to the cities and venues these festivals are in.  The LHMI Indie Film Screening Series looks to bridge that gap and get these films seen by more community audiences.  The films selected for the LHLMI Indie Film Screening Series are films with cultural relevance and/or that deal with social issues important to the underserved communities.
