MIAMI, FL – March 21, 2018 – (HISPANICIZE WRE) – Cuban-American actor, writer, video producer, and social media sensation Jenny Lorenzo will serve as master of ceremony for the fourth annual Tecla Awards taking place on Thursday, April 19th during Hispanicize 2018. The fourth annual Tecla Awards will showcase the impressive work that Latinx content creators & influencers are executing in the digital multicultural space.

Born and raised in Miami, FL, Jenny is known for her work on Aggressive Comix and We Are Mitú and as one of the original co-creators of BuzzFeed's first Latino vertical, Pero Like. Jenny became a viral sensation with her beloved Abuela character that has garnered millions of views online along with her relatable content of Latino culture. Her work has been recognized by places such as NBC News, Huffington Post, BuzzFeed, and We Are Mitú.

Jenny will lead the Tecla Awards ceremony by opening the show, recognizing this year’s finalists and revealing the winners.  The evening will be packed with comedic relief, musical performances and surprise appearances from some of the nations top Latinx creators, which is sure to make audiences LOL.
