San Diego Welcomes Prudential and DiMe Media’s #WomenInspired Workshops

— Event Focuses on Small Businesses, Finance, Entrepreneurship, Latina and African American Influencers —

SAN DIEGO, CA - September 21, 2016 – (HISPANICIZE WIRE) - In its third installment, Prudential and DiMe Media’s ‘Women Inspired’ workshop series is making its way to the Grant Hotel in San Diego on Thursday, September 22, 2016. These workshops are designed as a tool to empower and prepare multicultural women entrepreneurs for career and financial success.

Best-selling author, financial coach, and transformational speaker Patrice Washington will be joining the workshop to engage with and advise participants in reaching their entrepreneurial and financial goals.

“Following the success of our previous workshops in Houston and Chicago, we are very excited to bring ‘Women Inspired’ to the West Coast, the hub of Latina entrepreneurship,” said Dorinda Walker, Vice President of Consumer Strategy & Key Initiatives, Multicultural Marketing, Prudential’s U.S. Businesses. “By connecting multicultural women who are paving their paths to entrepreneurial success, we are encouraging an interchange of knowledge and experience, motivating attendees to learn from one another’s challenges and growths in order to make sound business and financial decisions.”

This exclusive gathering will serve as a platform for some of of California’s leading Latina digital influencers to share their journey in learning how to monetize their expertise, and essentially starting their own small businesses. The intimate living room set-up will provide influencers a chance to take turns answering questions posed by moderators and sharing insight, journeys, wisdom, experiences, financial planning and more.

Launched earlier this year at the Hispanicize event in Miami, the national tour is inspired by the number of Latina and African-American women who work full time to support their families and follow their entrepreneurial dreams.

‘We’re honored to coordinate the “Women Inspired” program nationally with Prudential to facilitate this important dialog among our influencer network so their messages help share knowledge and engage their digital audiences to plan for the next level in long-term savings and financial investment,” said Cristy Clavijo-Kish, Chief Development Officer for Hispanicize Media Group and DiMe Media Network.
