LBI Media’s Southern California Radio Stations Rank #1 During Mornings and Middays in November

BURBANK, CA - November 30, 2016 - (HISPANICIZE WIRE) - LBI Media, Inc., the fastest growing, minority owned Spanish language broadcasting company in the U.S. announced today that its KBUE-FM station in Los Angeles is the #1 Spanish language radio station in the Adults 18-34 demographic during the coveted morning drive time, according to the November ratings released by Nielsen Audio.

Nielsen Audio Research showed that KBUE-FM topped the Spanish language radio charts during the month of November with its morning drive juggernaut “Don Cheto Radio Show,” reaching the #1 spot among Hispanic Adults 18-34 as well as Hispanic Men 18-34 and 18-49, Monday through Friday, 5am-11am. The station also beat all of its competition with its compelling midday show featuring “La Socia” among Hispanic Adults and Men 18-34. Afternoon drive host “Robin Chido” was also #1 among Hispanic Men 18-34. Que Buena was up in the ratings year-over-year across all weekday daytime slots among Hispanic Adults and Men 18-34(1).

Other notable feats in southern California include LBI Media’s Orange County station, KWIZ-FM “La Ranchera”, which took the #1 spot evenings in Orange County among Hispanic Adults 18-34 and 18-49, and Hispanic Men 18-34 and 18-49. KWIZ-FM was also #1 in Orange County in morning drive, middays and primetime (Mon-Fri 6am-7pm) among Hispanic women 35+ and Hispanic women 35-64.

In the Inland Empire, LBI’s KRQB-FM(2), “Que Buena” ranked #1 regardless of language during morning drive time with Don Cheto Radio Show among Hispanic Men 18-49 and 25-54.
