Hispanicize 2017 Announces Call for Entries for Digital Marketing Categories of the 3rd Annual Tecla Awards

— Nominations for all categories now extended thru Feb. 17 —

MIAMI, FL - February 8, 2017 – (HISPANICIZE WIRE) - The 3rd Annual Hispanicize Tecla Awards announced today the Digital Marketing industry categories and the extension for the nominations phase to run thru February 17th. Hispanicize, the nation’s largest event for Latino trendsetters and influencers will host the Tecla Awards to honor the best in Latino and multicultural social media and those who create it on Thursday, April 6th at 8PM ET / 5PM PT at Miami’s Olympia Theatre.

The 2017 Hispanicize Tecla Awards marketing categories are for brands and agencies to submit their best work in the multicultural digital marketing landscape. The updated categories include:

— Best Agency doing Hispanic or Multicultural Social Media

This award honors a PR or Advertising agency that is consistently doing phenomenal, innovative work in the social media space.

— Best Overall Multicultural Community Engagement by a Brand on Social Media

This award honors a brand or organization that uses social media to effectively engage and collaborate with the Hispanic/multicultural community and who has excellent overall presence on social. The program may have been produced on any social media platform i.e. Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, or all of the above.

— Best Multicultural or Hispanic Social Media Campaign Executed by a Brand

This award honors best, most innovative and effective use of social community building and engagement in a specific campaign.

All nominations for the 3rd Annual Tecla Awards, which now also includes the Jewel Award for Social Good, will be considered and reviewed by Hispanicize Media Group partners and the Hispanicize National Advisory Board who together will determine the five finalists for each category. The actual winners of the 3rd Annual Tecla Awards will be determined by The Teclas Gold Academy, a panel of judges consisting of marketing, PR and social media executives, creators, and other experts in the digital media industry. Winners will be revealed the night of April 6th, 2017 during the Hispanicize Tecla Awards ceremony, which will be streamed live from Miami’s Olympia Theatre for viewers worldwide.
